Eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in Business systems analysis and application testing
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in Business systems analysis and application testing
  • Understanding of Identity Access Management (IAM) concepts, principles, and industry best practices
  • Familiarity with application security concepts such as authentication, access controls, multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), authorization, etc.
  • Prior experience managing requirements and user stories with tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO), Team Foundation Server (TFS), JIRA, etc.
  • General proficiency with Microsoft Office produces such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Documenting process workflows using Microsoft Visio or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of service-oriented architecture, web services, and Rest APIs
  • Basic database querying skills using Oracle, SQL Server, or any RDBMS software
  • Understanding of Agile and/or Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Business Solution Analyst – Global Employer Services Technology Center (GESTC) – Platform Security

Job purpose:

We are looking for an entry-level Business Solution Analyst who is highly motivated and detail-oriented to join our application security team. You will be responsible for translating complex business needs into functional requirements, working with cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions, and providing ongoing support.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, strong logical and analytical abilities, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This position requires regular interaction with business teams as well as coordination with the technical delivery team.

Key job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product owners and business teams to gather, analyze, and prepare functional requirements related to application security.
  • Create a visual representation of business requirements by defining and documenting functional designs, process workflows, and system integrations.
  • Determine gaps and solutions to increase efficiency.
  • Work with IT teams to validate translated technical requirements match functional requirements.
  • Create test cases and test scripts that are in line with functional requirements.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that features meet business, functional and technical requirements.
  • Provide Tier-2 support as needed to resolve technical issues related to new features.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues by examining system and application logs.
  • Define and document relevant product training materials.


Education/Background:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

Key skills desired
